I flew on the Britannia many times between UK and Entebbe when were living there. She used to be called the whispering giant. I made my first flight in 1948 on an Avro Anson operated by Clairways from Nairobi to Hargeisa in Somaliland. In a long career I am now 84 I think I have flown on every type of piston engined, turbo prop an jet turbine aircraft with the exception of the Concorde and the A 380. Watching these old films is a veritable walk down memory lane. My son is an airline Captain flying Airbus A 330's.
